With stars such as Dennis Quaid and the rising star Tyrese Gibson, of “Transformers” fame, being featured in this film, there is not doubt in my mind that it promises to rivet me to my seat, as the suspense grows. What will carry this film will be the intensity wrought by the script written by Peter Schink. Let’s face it; the storyline is actually one that is feared by countless humans already, as the thought of a final apocalypse brings shivers to many.

Paul Bettany, the archangel Michael, is such a good actor that I have no doubts that the part will be played with strength and power, as he helps defend humanity from total obliteration. The part of the waitress in the diner, played by Adrianne Palicki, who is pregnant at this middle of nowhere truck stop, carrying the unborn new messiah, is a tour de force, lending more and more credibility that this could really happen. Even if you watch Legion online, being at home, or in your own comfortable surroundings, will not keep you from being superbly frightened by this supernatural thriller.

I expect the film to be filled with cunning displayed by the humans against the legions of angels. Also, having the Archangel Michael on the human side has got to create a feeling of “get them” on the viewer’s side, which all moviegoers love to feel. I also anticipate that special effects, being as good as they are now with the aid of computers, have got to be remarkable! Technically, the film promises to be one that makes you scream out loud while you are drawn into it, for the thought that this could really happen will always be in the back of one’s mind. One has but to watch the trailer to see the special effects promise to be downright grandiose.

A movie such as Legion should have enough credibility in it that it makes the viewer accept the premise as well as the action. That’s what makes it a thriller, even though it’s based on the supernatural and biblical promises. The fact that you will see Legion online will make it even eerier, for you will be in the midst of familiar surroundings and this film will jar you in ways you’d never think possible in the sanctity of your own home.
